What would be a strawberry festival without gooey pie eating contests? Your hearty appetite is put to the test with your hands behind your back as you attempt to devour a strawberry pie complete with an eye-opening mountain of whipped cream. The first competitor to finish eating the entire pie is declared the winner. The festival features two adult and two children's (under 12) contests Saturday and Sunday and each contest is limited to 10 participants. Don't miss the opportunity to be the "Gooey Pie Eating" champion. Dont forget the 2007 “MBSF Strawberry Coloring contest”


The 13th Annual MONTEREY BAY STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd, 4th  & 5th at Ramsay Park in Watsonville. The celebration will serve up a menu of delectable strawberry delights, along with non-stop community entertainment, gooey contests for berry lovers, a special children's area with strawberry projects, carnival and much more.
